Every Step Counts: Surrey 3 Peaks for WellChild

About the Surrey Three Peaks Challenge

The Surrey Three Peaks Challenge takes in Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill and Box Hill, with over 1000 metres of ascent over a route of 23-miles.

On 18 July 2026, I and my dad will be taking on the Surrey Three Peaks Challenge, a personal trek covering approximately 23 miles (38 km) in a single day. This challenge is not just about pushing my own limits but about raising vital funds for WellChild, a charity dedicated to supporting seriously ill children and their families. As someone who has always enjoyed good health, I often take for granted the simple joys of walking, playing, going to school, and spending time with loved ones. However, learning about the daily struggles faced by children with serious illnesses has opened my eyes to challenges far greater than my own. While my walk will be tiring, it lasts only one day; for many children and their families, these challenges persist every single day. WellChild provides essential practical and emotional support that helps these families spend more precious time together at home whenever possible. This cause deeply resonates with me, and I am committed to making a difference by supporting their incredible work. I kindly ask for your support—no donation is too small. If many people give a little, together we can create meaningful change. Every contribution will inspire me to keep going through all 23 miles and will directly help WellChild continue their invaluable support for children and families who need it most. Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my story and for considering supporting this challenge. Your kindness means more than words can express.
