The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
Over the weekend of 26 to 27 September 2026, Jacob Ingleston-Orme and Ben McKay, 2nd year degree apprentices at Rolls Royce, are taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours to raise money for Ottilie Rushby. All money raised will be transferred directly to Ottilie’s official GoFundMe page, below, to help fund her treatment, travel and medical costs, and to support her and her family. Ottilie was diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma shortly before her 2nd birthday, after a scan revealed an aggressive tumour in her skull that had already spread to her spine and bone marrow. She is undergoing an intensive 18 month treatment programme, including chemotherapy, surgery, stem cell transplant, radiotherapy and immunotherapy. The fundraising will help give Ottilie the best possible chance of receiving the treatment and support she needs, while also supporting her family throughout this incredibly difficult journey. Any funds ultimately not needed for Ottilie will be donated to neuroblastoma research to help other children and families.
