The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
Our first attempt of the Three Peaks ended after spending over 8 hours on Ben Nevis on a snow filled Friday night in October. That attempt saw us brave the sub zero temperatures and deep snow, and resulted in a two hour wait outside Fort William Hospital for one of the group. This time however, summer months, a rest the night before, longer days and more preparation were the order of the day...
