The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
In the late 1970’s, a group of dedicated men and women began to meet in Glasgow. Many of the group were suffering from, and had already lost family and friends to asbestos related disease. Their common purpose was to address the lack of information and support available to people who had lost loved ones, or who were living with an asbestos related disease. The group began to hold weekly meetings in Glasgow City Chambers, and formulated the founding principles of what was to become Clydeside Action on Asbestos.
