The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside within 12 hours.
We are a group of sixth form students who want to raise money for charity. We love challenge and we feel that the Yorkshire Three Peaks walk is a perfect opportunity to improve ourselves, and the lives of individuals less fortunate than us.
Optometry Giving Sight is the only global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error – simply the need for an eye exam and a pair of glasses. Optometry Giving Sight uses it's donated funds to provide glasses and eye correction surgery in less developed areas of the world where this is a common problem.
