The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
A friend of mine asked if I fancied doing the Three Peaks Challenge approx. 5-6 weeks ago. I have very little up hill running under my belt nor had I ever ran trails but I bought myself some trail runners and proceeded to train. I am so amazed I was able to complete the challenge and in a time i am super proud of. I was shattered at the end but this was also due to the fact only two of us did this together and shared the driving as well. So chuffed.
