About the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside within 12 hours.

We are a group of family and friends hoping to raise as much as possible for BLISS premature baby charity.

Fundraising for Bliss

Our baby girl was born 10 weeks early in May 2021, weighing just 1lb 7oz and spent 9 weeks on the neonatal unit at Royal Preston hospital. That was an incredibly difficult time and we are so lucky that she is growing to be a very happy, smiley, healthy baby. As a celebration of how far she has come, and a way of marking her first birthday, me and Maciek and some of our family and friends will be completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in April to raise money for Bliss- a charity that supports families with a baby born early and/or unwell. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a huge 24.5 mile trek with 3 peaks completed in 12 hours! This will be really tough but if it means that we can raise money to fund research and support families affected by premature birth, it will be worth it.
