The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
We are three brothers- Bertie, the youngest, decided he was feeling old and unfit so came up with the idea and suggested it to his two older brothers- who of course were not best pleased with idea but could hardly refuse. At least they had someone to blame when the pain set in. We managed it in 22hrs 30mins which given the fact we drove ourselves (and got lost for an hour at 3am on Scafell Pike) was not to bad a time.
