Hello and welcome to the fundraising page for Eden Rose Robson! Before I explain the challenge we’re about to take on, please allow me to take a minute and explain the story behind this fundraiser. In November 2021, my wife, Harriet and I lost our baby, Eden Rose. She was a still born baby born on 25th November 2021. During this horrific time we were supported by the staff at the birthing centre within the Bath RUH, in a room called ‘The Forget Me Not Suite’. This nice, bright, comfortable space gave us such precious time and memories with Eden that we won’t ever forget. The ‘Forget Me Not Suite’ is a self funded area which relies solely on charitable donations to keep running and offering to support other affected families. Our second charity is ‘Teddy’s Wish’. ‘Teddy’s Wish’ was there to support us with their fantastic councillors throughout the entirety of the most difficult of times. Their support was amazing, and we can’t thank them enough for the compassion that was shown to us. So… for the challenge! We’ve been thinking for the past few months, we would love to do something to raise money for these charities but really wanted to do something that stood out and caught people’s attention. We’ve decided that a group of our closest family and friends, both Male and Female, will be taking on ‘The 3 Peak Challenge’. This is climbing the 3 highest peaks in the UK in 24 hours! (Ben Nevis, Scaffell Pike & Snowden) After completing ‘The 3 Peak Challenge’, the following morning, a small portion of group will then complete a 200 Mile bike ride back to Trowbridge. We’re all excited (albeit slightly apprehensive) about this challenge and we look forward to raising as much money as possible. We understand times are difficult, but any donations, no matter how small, are much appreciated and will help these charities carry on their fantastic work to support other families like they have done for Myself, Harriet, and my other daughter, Ottilie. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Tom, Harriet, Ottilie & Eden
