A group of us are undertaking the 3 peak UK challenge in 24hrs (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) to raise money and awareness for a charity Trust - called the Rose Blossom Trust. We as a group are undertaking this challenge in August 2023. (Sponsored by GBJ Environmental Systems (uk) LTD)
Fundraising pageRose Blossom Trust is a small non-profitable charity, set up from a family whose two daughters, Darcie and Evie were diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome. Heartbreakingly Darcie passed away due to this condition and there are other families out there with loved ones which affects child and adults with the same diagnosis. Dravet is a rare neurological condition that encompasses treatment resistant epilepsy, intellectual disability and a spectrum of comorbidities which include autism, ADHD, difficulties with speech, mobility eating and sleeping. Dravet is very under diagnosed in the UK so it is important to be aware and sharing awareness. The Rose Blossom Trust has the intention to give a little ‘sunshine’ to families who care for a child or adult with Dravet Syndrome, as caring for someone with Dravet is emotionally, physically and financially draining. Rose Blossom are there to help families and make their lives a little easier and help children thrive.
