In 2005 we lost my Dad, Keith. He was just 48. He lived with type 1 diabetes most of his life and it was cruel to him. It broke our hearts to lose the finest gentleman you could ever meet. I was going to wait until the 20th year anniversary of his passing to undertake a year of challenges in his memory but if his death taught me nothing else, it is that we must seize the day, for life is short and tomorrow is not promised. So, with the help of some of my family and best friends, Lee and I are going to try and raise vital funds for Diabetes UK. Over the year we have or are going to undertake a few half marathons, a practice of Snowdon and Gemma's first time in the hills, a 12 hr ultra marathon, a 106km non stop event on the IOW to name a few.. The 3 peaks attempt has been our main event for 2024 and we looking forward to the adventure.
