3 PEAKS TEAM KAROLINA

Karolina and her team of 8 are taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge! Karolina, endorsed by Sporting Family Change, TONIQ and M2M, is taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in preparation to ascending Mount Everest! Karolina is aiming to be the first DeafBlind individual to reach the Mount Everest summit. As part of her preparation, she is taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge; the challenge entails climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. As if this challenge wasn't hard enough, she is planning on completing the mountaineering all within a 24 hour period. Karolina on why she wants to successfully climb Mount Everest: "I have a condition called Usher's Syndrome, which impacts both my hearing and sight. My vision began deteriorating when I was 19. I want to summit Everest while I still have my useful sight and make a memory to look back on if and when I become completely DeafBlind. The purpose of this mission is to raise awareness and bring representation of the deafblind community, and document my training and connections with the Nepalese people."
