On the 29th June 2014, my Mum Jackie tragically passed away from a heart attack. It turned my whole life upside down in a flash. 10 years later I’ve missed out on sharing the most important moments in my life with my Mum. She wasn’t there to hold my hand and guide me when I had our baby boy and she wasn’t there to help me putting my wedding dress on and wipe away happy tears on my wedding day. It’s a pain that will never go away but the hope is that we can raise as much money as we can in the aim to prevent at least one other family face the same heartache. So on the evening of the 28th June 2024 our 24 hour challenge begins, finishing with enough time on the 29th to raise a glass to my wonderful Mum who will be always be remembered.
