*LKQ ECP takes on Three Peaks Challenge* Eight Managers from LKQ Euro Car Parts Warehouse In Dordon, Tamworth, will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in 24-hours on 1st June 2024. The team taking part are: Matthew Warner, Sean Kerr, Lee Davis, Simon Shorthouse, Ionut Petreanu, Jonathan Covington, Stephen Medland and David Adams-Hall After months of training and planning, the team will take on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon in just 24-hours. Whilst the training has been tough and the team have endured all weather conditions, tried out all the kit and encouraged each other to keep going throughout, the experience will be something that they will never forget and the funds raised will go to an extraordinary charity doing incredible work. They will walk around 36km, climb over 3,000m (and back down again), and drive over 450 miles to raise money for Mental Health UK. *Why Mental Health UK?* Approximately 7.5 million people in the UK are living with a diagnosed mental illness and Mental Health UK is a UK-wide charity that empowers people to understand and manage their mental health. Each one of the Managers involved in the challenge have had their lives touched by mental health and are all taking part for their own reasons and to raise £500 for the incredible charity. Just £50 could enable five young people to take part in an eight-week programme to give them the tools to manage their mental health - so just imagine what £500 could do!
