I am a mum of 4 taking on a personal challenge to complete the 3 Peaks (Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24hrs... I am lucky to be doing this with a team of 6 other incredible mums walking with me and 3 fantastic women supporting us. An all woman super-team will be heading to Scotland at the end of September to take on this demanding test. I would love to raise a bit of money along the way to donate to ST DUBRICIUS CHURCH OF ENGLAND SCHOOL in Porlock to provide raised beds in which every class can grow their own produce - this passionate school are really driven to provide the best education they possibly can. With so many budget cuts, now more than ever Schools rely on the generosity of the community to support students' school experience and I would love to be able to contribute to this. Half of any money raised will also be donated to CANCER RESEARCH - this is a charity very close to my heart. For those who know me, you will know that I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in 2018. Thankfully I now have no evidence of disease but I am of course aware that some are not so lucky and more is still needed to beat cancer. Again, I want to be able to contribute and give something back after the fantastic care I received.
