Over the last couple of years I have really got into hiking and I have set myself a personal goal of achieving the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge which means covering the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire (Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough) covering a distance of just over 25 miles within a 12 hour period. Although this is a personal challenge, it is going to be a tough one and so I would really love to use this as an opportunity to try and raise some money for a very worthy charity in the process. I often see the efforts of the North West Air Ambulance Service when I am out hiking and although I am lucky enough not to have needed to use the service myself, I am in awe at the life changing service that they provide.
