Three Peaks Challenge Registrations

Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World

On the 29th April a team from Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World will be attempting the UK Three Peaks Challenge (climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa in 24 hours) in aid of Pepper's Pet Rescue. They are a small, family-run rescue charity based in Halesowen, West Midlands, founded in 2018. The organization accepts animals from across the Midlands and works to rehome them throughout England. Solely funded by donations, the charity primarily takes in small animals such as cats and rabbits but strives to help any animal in need, space permitting. When contacted for assistance, they respond promptly. For strays and feral cats, they use specialized trapping equipment, often requiring multiple visits to safely capture the animals. Once collected, any injuries or illnesses are treated immediately by local veterinarians or through an out-of-hours service. This hands-on approach ensures every animal receives the care and attention they need before finding their forever home. We have personally had multiple domestic cats from Peppers Pet Rescue - you may have met these when visiting the zoo - so their cause is very close to our heart. We hope that you will consider giving generously.
