The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
We’re the Forbes family and we’ve set ourselves a proper challenge – climbing the three highest peaks in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon) in just 24 hours! Yep, that’s a lot of driving, hiking, sore legs and probably a few blisters… all in aid of two brilliant local causes. We’re raising money for Hatherop Primary School’s Big Build, helping give our village kids the learning space they deserve, and Farmor’s School’s new Astro pitch, so students can play sport all year round, whatever the weather throws at them. What makes this challenge extra special? Our youngest team member, Heidi (age 8), is on a mission to become, we believe, the youngest girl to complete the challenge in 24 hours.
