We are fundraising for Grimsby Borough Girls Blue U13 team.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who are Grimsby Borough Girls?------------------------------------------------------------------- Grimsby Borough Girls Blue U13 is a football team within Grimsby Borough Ladies and Girls Footbal club. An absolute fantastic bunch of girls, true friends on and off the pitch. Three brilliant coaches look after the development of the players. Since taking over the team two years ago, our girls have gone from strenght to strenght winning several trophies at various tournaments. We would like them to continue their football development under watchful eyes of Jason, Marcus and Liam.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why are we crowdfunding?------------------------------------------------------------------------- Through variuos donations last year, we were able to organise days out for our girls, during which girls have had great fun away from football. This prooved very important in developing their relationships beyond their football game. We would like to provide them with more opportunities to develop through attending football camps and - if possible - an international football tournament in Europe. The team is supported by a fantastic bunch of parents, committed to the team as a whole, helping each other as much as they can. It would be a dream come true for the girls to be able to play at European football tournament. Please help us achieve this goal in 2025/2026 season.--------------- How we’ll spend the money raised?----------------------------------------------------------------- Fun days away from football for further integration of the team, football camps away from our area and attending international footbal tournament in Europe. Community impact Year 2025 is a year of Women’s European Championship in Switzerland, with England’s Lionesses taking part as defending Champions. Woman and girls football has progressed so much over recent years. The last Women European Championship in 2021 held in England has propelled this sport into new, great heights, with everyone recognising the female football talents that we have here in the UK and the need of female role models in football going forward. With big premiership clubs also recognising this and allowing their funds to flow into female football academies and Emerging Talent Centres, we have decided that supporting girls grassroot football team would be a great idea.
