We’re Snowdone

We will be raising money for Cancer Research UK which is an amazing charity that saves lives through research, influence, and information. They focus on preventing, diagnosing, and treating cancer, as well as funding research into all aspects of the disease. Alastair Sayles (Ellen's father) passed away in 2022 of melanoma which is a form of skin cancer. Today, 9 in 10 people diagnosed with malignant melanoma (the most serious type of skin cancer) survive their disease for 10 years or more. This has been caused by advancements in technology, such as immunotherapy, which has brought hope to many people with advanced skin cancer. There is still much more to do for people whose cancers don't respond to these cutting-edge treatments. This treatment has been funded and supported by this charity since 1902.
