The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside within 12 hours.
We are a Husband and Wife duo that has decided to tackle the Yorkshire three peaks challenge for the charity Pet Blood Bank UK. Pet Blood Bank is an UK charity that exists to help save the lives of pets in need. The charity was set up to support vets by providing a blood service for pets, just like the one we have as humans. They run donation sessions where owners bring their much loved companions to give blood. It is then stored and sent out to vets when they need it, 24 hour a day, 7 days a week to ensure blood is always available. Pet Blood Bank hold donation sessions for amazing donor dogs all over the country and it was a donation such as this that allowed us to have another three brilliant years with our treasured dog Bandit, so we know firsthand the joy a service like this can bring. We are hoping to raise £1000 for the charity so anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!
