The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside within 12 hours.
This year marks 10 years since we lost our good friend Carl, known to us all as Drog. To honour his memory, a group of us are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. A year after Drog passed, a group of us cycled 500 miles from Otley to Paris in his name 'Le Tour de Drog' a journey that was as much about friendship and laughter as it was about endurance. The challenge gave us a chance to celebrate the man he was. Now, 9 years on, we're coming together once again to remember him in the way we know best (other than a pub crawl dressed as umpa lumpas) by pushing ourselves, sharing stories and raising a glass (or five!).
