Colton Juniors Yellow Tour 2026

About the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside within 12 hours.

Our Colton Juniors U13 lads are gearing up for an unforgettable football tour in 2026—but we need your help to get them there! A group of 11 of our parents are putting their bodies on the line to help raise money for the lads by taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Sat 27 Sept 2025. The Challenge is 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent and takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough(723 metres), completed in under 12 hours.... hopefully! The group consists of Tom Kendrick, Dave Robson, Paul Newbigging, Gemma Young, Keighly Maddison, Nicola Tudor, Wayne Brayshaw, Sandra Cockayne and Dave Caunce supported on the day by Kirsty Queenan, Sarah Robson and Tim Tudor. We’d love your support—any donation, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated by all and will help the group get through all the hard training ahead and to smash the Challenge on the day!
