Milo's Peaks

About the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside within 12 hours.

Taking on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Milo's Mission, a Special Named Fund at CCLG: The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association. As a group of his family and friends we knew Milo from the very start of his life. His bright smile and cheeky laugh touched us all. Milo was an active, healthy toddler until around a month before being diagnosed with Wilms' tumour, a cancer of the kidney. Tragically, Milo passed away on 26th November 2024 when he was only two and a half. Milo was a force of nature, absolutely bursting with life and he made friends with everyone he met. He loved dinosaurs, trains, planes & helicopters, the playground, complex jigsaw puzzles, reading books, and his family. Milo is sorely missed by everyone who knew him. In his memory, on 27th June, we will be taking on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. We are doing this to raise money for Milo's Mission is a Special Named Fund at CCLG: The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association, raising funds for research into childhood cancer, with a particular focus on early diagnosis and kinder treatments.
