About the National Three Peaks Challenge

The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.

We are a family who enjoy the outdoors. Our eldest Daughter, Erin, who will be turning 7 on our planned departure day, would like to complete the challenge to raise money for her primary school (Wembury Primary School). To support them in reaching their target to raise the relevant funds to build a roof over their current outdoor swimming pool. Erin completed her first large walk, Moel Famau (highest hill in the Clwydian Range, North Wales) just before her third birthday. She completed Pen-Y-Fan when she was 5, and during 2025, she bagged Old Man of Coniston as well as some of the smaller, scenic hills. Living in the Ocean City of Plymouth, Erin regularly completes long walks along the coast path as well as Dartmoor. Erin will be completing the walk with her Dad, Scott, a regular runner on the Ultra Marathon and trail running scene. Her Mum, Hannah, open water and channel swimmer, SW Coast path completer. Her younger sister, Hester, will be joining along for moral support, with some walking and some hitch hiking in the back carrier!
