The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
The Vert Masters UK National 3 Peaks Challenge is hoping to raise money for The Ben Raemers Foundation. As a group of vert skateboarders, several of whom are on the north side of 50, we recognize that the physical grit required to summit Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in 24hrs is only a momentary challenge. It serves as a stark reminder of the far more complex, enduring struggles associated with mental health - battles that don’t end when you reach the top of a mountain. By testing our own limits, we hope to generate meaningful support for the Foundation’s work in providing mental health education and suicide prevention within the skating community and beyond, ensuring that the conversation around wellbeing remains as loud and constant as the climb itself. Our team members are: Mat Marlow Sean Kelly Greg Nowik Dave Mountain Austin Fraser Jones Mark Oliver Stu Bennet Jack Wallbridge Lars Stout Bart Govers Chris Nolan Iain Wallbridge (driver) Keiron Bhargava (driver) More information about The Ben Raemers Foundation: The Ben Raemers Foundation aims to relieve the needs of people with mental health issues or those at risk of mental health issues, in particular but not exclusively those within the skateboarding community.
