The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
We're a group of slightly foolish twenty-somethings from rural Northants, seeking a crazy challenge. A crazy challenge is what we got! Overcoming several obstacles en route, including a massive detour due to a car crash, travel sickness and mountainside injuries, we managed to complete the challenge on time, touching the gate at the bottom of the miner's track with just twelve minutes to spare.
