We are a group of four staff at Heywood Community School who would like to make a difference to the extended school community by raising funds to re open Splinters, our local Youth and Community Centre which was closed in June 2012 following Government spending reductions. The Splinters community project means a lot to the school and Cinderford. It provides a focus for community based projects in Cinderford as well as involving the school with the community.
