The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
Debbie Williams is the Headteacher and Tim Williams (No relation) is the Assistant Headteacher at Lane End Primary School, Buckinghamshire. They are committed to their school and should be committed for this challenge... Both have a love of blisters and will climb over mountains just to prove it.
Fundraising pageWe are raising funds to purchase iMac computers to coincide with the iPads we have invested in for the children to use within the library area. The library itself would be refitted with new shelving and furniture and also a new and updated range of books for the children to access. This would mean the library could then be used properly for a whole range of activities, including time for children to continue to research about subjects they have found interesting in the class or for lessons to take place within the library space. The current ICT suite would then be available to be converted into a ‘Learning Café’ which can be opened up to parents and carers. This would be a space where, during the school day, parents can find out about how we use the iPads in class as well as sharing learning with their children before and after school.
