The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
A very well organised challenge by the Venture Scouts, aiming to beat the previous record of 19 hours 57 minutes. Beginning as a team of four runners, poor weather on Ben Nevis forced two of the group to withdraw. Each mountain was completed in around two hours.
